FAQ
A paintball is a round, thin-skinned gelatin capsule, with colored liquid inside of it. Paintballs are similar to large round vitamin capsules or a bath oil bead. The fill inside paintballs is non-toxic, non-caustic, water-soluble and biodegradable. It rinses out of clothing and off skin with mild soap and water. Paintball are even edible, although we don’t recommend it.
WILL IT HURT WHEN I GET HIT WITH A PAINTBALL?
The sting of the paintball hit is what makes this game unique. The thrill of running and jumping, dodging the paintball goes right back to your childhood, and the competition of trying to make the point to win the overall game just adds to the rush. So although getting “marked” by a paintball might sting a little, the sensation is similar to getting popped with a towel and will usually go away in a couple seconds.
During the summer months always carry bug spray and sunscreen. Application of bug spray should be done before you play and will keep the pests off you while engaged in our games. Avoid using bug spray near your goggles. It will damage goggle lenses and other plastic equipment. In the winter lip-balm and good warm gloves are a must. Remember, we are outdoors so dress for it.
The most important safety precaution in the sport of paintball is the full face goggles. We require all participants to wear full-face mask system with ear protection. All visitors to Paintball 2 Go are given a safety briefing every time they visit us. This briefing explains the important safety rules at the park, along with how to properly use the equipment and play the game. We also require guests to chronograph their markers before each game. This allows us to make sure no guests are exceeding the maximum velocity of 285 fps (feet per second).
Paintballs are made of a gelatin shell, the same material that a Tylenol capsule is made of. The RPS Marballizer paintballs that we use have a fill of vegtable oil and food coloring. Our paintballs will not stain your clothes, they are composed of a water soluble fill material. One of the main reasons we insist on our Field Paint only policy and that you have to buy our paintballs is so that a staining paintball can not be brought in and used without our knowledge.
WHAT TYPE OF RENTAL EQUIPMENT CAN I RENT?
We offer paintball guns, gelly ball gun and archery bows. These guns are good for 3-4 balls per second with a accuracy range of approximately 100 feet. We also provide a full face goggle, 200 round loader, a 48 ci compressed air tank that is good for 500 shots before you have to refill and a barrel sleeve for safety.
Yes, but we will inspect your equipment to make sure it meets our safety standards.

CAN I BRING MY OWN PAINTBALLS?
PB2GO is a mulitple sport facility. Therefore, in order to protect all individuals we By enforcing that you purchase all paintballs from us, we are able to insure that: no staining or hazardous paintballs are being used, no frozen or nonbreaking paintballs are being used as well as keeping the environment clean with paintballs that we know are ecofriendly and made here in the USA.
You want to dress according to the season. Long pants are long sleeve shirts are always recommended, if nothing but to provide a barrier between the paintball and your skin should you get hit. Do not worry about the paint itself, it washes out with water. The dirt and clay from the fox holes and trenches will cause more damage to your clothing and footwear. So dress appropriately. Summer time warrants light colored clothes so as to not attract any more heat than what is already obvious. Winter time justifies a sweat shirt or hoody, so not only will it keep you warm, but also provide plenty of padding. Don’t go to crazy on the clothing. If you have too many layers you will not be able to run around, crawl and jump in those fox holes. You will mimick the pillsbury doughboy and just be an easy target that can not get out of the way.
Insurance companies allow us to leave it up to the parent to determine if their particular child is mature enough to handle the responsibilities that come along with playing paintball. Here are a few questions to ask yourself if your child is ready or not: can my child follow the simple rules in the safety video that will not only protect him/her, but also their fellow players will he/she panic when they get hit (ex. take their goggles off during play) will he/she cry when they get hit (don’t want them to be embarrassed) usually if the child is active with any type of outdoor sports, they will be fine with paintball For kids under 10, we recommend some type of private party to insure that it is just your group shooting with each other and no worries of other experienced players using your child for target practice. Usually after a couple of hours of private play, even the youngest of players are ready for more competition.
DO I NEED A WAIVER IF I'M BRINGING SOMEONE ELSE'S CHILD?
Every player must sign a electronic waiver upon arrival to the park. If under 18, a parent or guardian can sign the waiver online in advance for their child.. If you brought someone else’s child to the park, we recommend you make sure their parent has signed the online waiver before arrival.
CAN I BRING A BOOK BAG OR DUFFLE BAG?
Yes, book bags and duffel bags are allowed. However, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
GellyBall is an ultra low impact sport – suitable for kids age four and up. It uses GellyBall blasters – an easy-to-use gun that doesn’t use much pressure to shoot GellyBalls. Unlike Nerf – where you have to constantly reload with ammo off the floor, a GellyBall Blaster holds 750 shots without reloading!!! Lots more fun!!!
The GellyBall Blasters are electronic guns, so if you squeeze the trigger and hold it, they will shoot about 10 balls per second! However, we tell the players to shoot in “bursts” – just a quick pull on the trigger. The pod that holds the ammo is called a “Hand Grenade” – it holds 750 GellyBalls. The GellyBall Blaster accurately shoots a distance of 100 feet!
WHAT AMMO DOES A GELLYBALL BLASTER USE?
The GellyBall Blaster shoots GellyBalls! A GellyBall is like an Orbeez. GellyBalls are teeny tiny absorbent polymer beads that expand into small beads when soaked in water. They are biodegradable and nontoxic. They will not hurt your pets, plants or grass. Unlike paintballs that explode upon impact, GellyBalls simply bounce off or disintegrate – then they dehydrate! No stain, no mess!
HOW LONG WILL OUR GELLYBALLS LAST?
Not Sure… How long does a glass of wine last? It’s really all up to the individual. GellyBall Blasters are electronic guns, so if you squeeze the trigger and hold it, they will shoot about 10 balls a second! But we tell the players to shoot in “Bursts” just a quick pulls on the trigger. That being said, IT DOESN’T MATTER! It’s unlimited ammo at our parties!
The GellyBall Blaster uses very low pressure to shoot, so it only feels like a good snap of a rubber band. But you’ll be having so much fun, you won’t even notice!
It’s all the fun and excitement of paintball, without the pain and mess! Like paintball, you get to play all kinds of different games.
GellyBall is WAY more fun than Nerf! The only similarity is that you get to shoot ammo. You aren’t constantly picking ammo up from the ground to reload – the Gel Blaster holds 750 beads!! And it shoots 10 GellyBalls per second and accurately shoots up to distances of 100 feet!!!!
No. GellyBall beads are non-toxic, non-staining and biodegradable. They are water-hydrated and will shirk to a tiny size before disintegrating entirely – no mess, no clean-up.
Is Archery Tag Safe?
YES! It’s SAFE Enough for KIDS, but fun enough for all! The Archery Tag arrows are specially designed for safety. Arrows use soft foam tips and travel at a relatively slow velocity to minimize danger and pain from impact. Masks are worn at all times to protect the eyes and face, and purposeful “head shots” are illegal in the game of Archery Tag.
ARE WE INSURED?
We are indeed fully insured. For groups requiring a Certificate of Insurance with their organization listed as certificate holder, we can provide that at the time of a booking agreement.
WHAT DOES AN ARCHERY TAG EVENT LOOK LIKE?
We arrive early to set up and prep for the games. We setup everything and provide a 10 minutes orientation for the players, who are introduced to our amazing archery tag equipment, quick training session and short review of respect, honor and team sportsmanship . After that point, the games begin! The Game Coach orchestrates the games, special rules can be voted on by the players as well. This way everyone gets plenty of playing time, rest, and water breaks if needed (be sure to have plenty of water on hand). When we’re done, your guests can head inside for cake or to open presents while we take all equipment down and pack up.
HOW MANY ARCHERY TAG PLAYERS CAN PLAY AT A TIME?
Our setup is staged for 10 players to play at one time. Each match can be timed to last 5-10 minutes. We have rotated 60 players or more per hour. Most games are over within 10 minutes. We can on special request add 2 players ( extra cost may apply).
WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO WEAR?
Players should wear clothes suitable for the weather and season that allow the greatest possible range of movement. Athletic shoes with good traction on the selected playing surface should be worn. Light long sleeve shirts are recommended in case the players draw style of the bow string caused the string to hit the forearm. We provide forearm protectors but long sleeves is a good idea also.
